First Launch

Launch Hex Composer. If the panels are hidden or arranged differently, choose View > Layouts > Restore Default Layout.

Find Output in the center, Module on the right, and Chain and Patches across the bottom. Click the Patches tab if it shares a dock with Chain.

Click a module in Chain to inspect its controls in Module. The default patch contains one OSC module, the oscillator generator.

Open View > Modulation to show the modulation controls beside Module.

Use Reading the Panel to identify Knobs, Troughs, Wheels, and Pads as you work through the next pages.
